In the shadow of two tragic deaths at the Nyx and Endymion parades, New Orleans Police chief Shaun Ferguson wants everyone attending the parades to watch out for each other’s safety this Fat Tuesday.
“You may not know everyone that is in your general area, but this is when strangers become family for that one day, and we have to take that responsibility for watching out for one another as 'family' throughout that one day,” said Chief Ferguson.
