The New Orleans Police Department weighs in on unrest in Minneapolis and the death of George Floyd.
In a Facebook post, the NOPD called the incident ‘troubling and disturbing’ and that the NOPD does not "condone what officers did and did not do in the death of Mr. Floyd.”
NOPD Superintendent Shaun Ferguson did not directly address the video of a Minneapolis white officer, kneeling on the neck of restrained black man, George Floyd, but he did express his concerns on Twitter.

This all comes as Floyd’s death sparked outrage and destructive riots and looting in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
