New Orleans Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the Fourth District Sunday afternoon.
The NOPD received a call about 12:50 p.m. reporting shots fired near the intersection of Diana and Verret streets. Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from an undetermined number of gunshot wounds.
The victim died at the scene.
