Police in New Orleans investigate two separate shootings.
Initial police reports say the first happened around 12:44 a.m. Friday in the 8800 block of I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East. Police only said a single victim was found with a gunshot wound and was taken by EMS to a hospital. Their identity or condition is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
The second shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of Ridgeway Boulevard in the Irish Bayou area. Initial reports indicate there is one female victim suffering with a gunshot wound. EMS transported her to a local hospital. No further information is available at this time.
