Police say they have found the person who was breaking windows on the Northshore last weekend.

"The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Mandeville man after he broke windows out of and caused damage to several Covington/Mandeville area businesses and a family residence located in Mandeville," Captain Scott Lee said in a news release.

The crimes happened last Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

"The STPSO received reports from multiple businesses located along Hwy. 190 in Covington, Hwy. 59 in Mandeville and a Mandeville resident, that an unknown perpetrator had propelled some type of projectile into the glass windows of each business and the residence causing extensive damage to glasswork."

Lee says they found video key to the case.

"During the course of the investigation the STPSO was able to recover surveillance footage of a vehicle seen near several of the businesses shortly before the damage occurred.  The subsequent investigation led investigators to the Mandeville home of Jacob Pratt."

Today they secured arrest warrants.

"Pratt was located and taken into custody without incident and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail."

He faces charges for felony and misdemeanor criminal damage.

Cops are looking for additional victims and any more information.

"Anyone with information about these crimes or who believes they may have been a victim is asked to contact Detective Moreno at 985-276-1331 or 985-898-2338."

Police did not say what the motive for breaking the windows may have been.
