Owners of the Hard Rock want to settle quickly but that probably won't happen

Attorneys for the owners of the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel construction site say they would like to pay claimants affected by the collapse as soon as possible.  Lawyers say they are fully and properly insured, so those claimants can get compensated.But is that easier said than done?"Of course that's what the owners want, that's what virtually everybody wants when they get into litigation," said legal analyst Dane Ciolino.  "Unfortunately this case is extraordinarily complex."Ciolino explains there is just so much involved and fault is still an issue no one knows exactly what caused this.  "How that fault is to be attributed among all of the possible liable parties, are issues that are going to take years to resolve," Ciolino said.  He says there are just so many involved."Hundreds, if not thousands of potentially impacted plaintiffs and dozens and dozens of potentially liable defendants, like contractors, subcontractors, architects, structural engineers, it's mind-boggling how complex this case is and there is no way it is going to get resolved quickly."
