The NBA Draft Lottery was held Thursday night and the New Orleans Pelicans were awarded the 13th pick in this year’s draft.
The Pelicans had a 92 percent chance of landing the 13th pick after finishing the 2020 season with a 28-36 record and losing a tiebreaker with the Sacramento Kings who finished with the same record as New Orleans.
The NBA Draft 2020 presented by State Farm is set to take place Oct. 16.
