Rain will ease up and should be mostly dry for Bacchus, tonight

It appears the rain will begin to slack off, and that means good news for Bacchus riders and others this evening.  Only a few spotty showers are expected this evening until 7 p.m. 

Tonight the cool down begins as temperatures start to fall quickly.  Temps in the 50s this evening.  

"Overnight, temperatures drop into the 40s as the cold air really rushes in," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexandra Cranford.  "With the wind, it will feel like 30s by sunrise Monday.

Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras will be dry but chilly.
