Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto says JPSO received reports of gunfire in the 1400 block of Estalote Ave. in Harvey Saturday night about 8:30.
Second District Officers arrived shortly after and discovered an unidentified black male on the ground in an empty lot behind a residence. He was found unconscious and pronounced dead on the scene. The victim was shot multiple times.
JPSO reports no motives or suspects at this time.
