Sewerage & Water Board finds another car in New Orleans canal

The New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board fished another car out of one of its drainage canals. This one was at the bottom of the Algiers Canal near Tullis Drive.

We are constantly working to inspect and clean our drainage system. Last week, our crews pulled a car out of the Algiers Canal that runs under Tullis Dr. on the West Bank. pic.twitter.com/mk0r3y5w93

The water board says city councilwoman Kristin Gisleson Palmer alerted them to the canal car. 

Last August, a video inspection of an underground canal in the Bayou St. John area found a car that had been down there for several years.
