The Saturday and Sunday count shows there are approximately 1300 new COVID-19 cases in Louisiana.
The Lousisana Department of Health reports 58 additional people have succumb to the infection over the past two days.
The hospitalization count declined by 18, with an increase of 23 in the use of ventilators.
