New Orleans Police are currently investigating a Sunday morning homicide.
According to the NOPD, a male victim was fatally shot near the intersection of Canal St. and N. Claiborne.
It happened about 8 a.m.
Police say the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
