A weak cold front has pushed through our area with only a very slight drop in dew points.
High temperatures Sunday will stay in the low 80s, with lots of sunshine.
"You'll want to wear some sunscreen if you're going to Jazz Fest or spending any amount of time outside today," says local weather expert, WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin.
"The weather's going to be rather quiet for the next few days before several upper disturbances trigger a daily rain chance starting on Wednesday," says Franklin.
"Computer models had been indicating another round of showers and storms Tuesday with an upper feature, but now most of them keep us dry Tuesday. Another weak front will move into the area and possibly stall by week's end keeping rain chances on the higher side from Friday through next weekend. We shall see."
