The weekend starts off hot with plenty of sunshine.
"We'll stay mostly dry into this afternoon as well as tomorrow," said WWL-TV meteorologist Brooke Laizer.
"Our temperatures topping out around 92, feeling more like triple digits, but at least below heat advisory criteria," she said.
An upper-level low will heighten rain chances in the area on Monday.
