March did not come in like a lion, and is certainly not going out like a lamb.
The month is ending with more of a winter-like feel than late March.
"After a Saturday high of 83 at the airport, this morning felt like a slap in the face!" says your local weather expert, WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin.
He says we'll likely stay in the 50s all day, with overcast skies, scattered light rain and brisk northerly winds gusting to 20 miles an hour and higher.
We're in for a very chilly night, as well, with lows falling into the 40s on both sides of the Lake.
"It'll be overcast again tomorrow, with a slight chance of more showers," says Franklin. "But, at least we'll make it into the low 60s."
Come Tuesday, we'll see a lot more sunshine and a very pleasant day, with low humidity and temperatures warming to near 70.
Wednesday looks much the same, but the muggies begin to return by Thursday with rain chances increasing as we wrap up the week and head into the weekend.
