Saturday gets the weekend off to a sweltering start.
"It's going to be hot and muggy all weekend long, with high temperatures in the low 90s," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "Our 'feels-like' temperatures will be in the triple-digits, maybe above 100 degrees so make sure you stay cool and hydrated."
There is a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and storms Saturday and Sunday.
