United State Surgeon General Jerome Adams says he hopes New York's virus cases will fall next week because of aggressive containment measures, but he says he doesn't see other areas having similar luck.

"We also see hot spots, like Detroit, like Chicago, like New Orleans, that will have a worse week next week than what they have this week."

Dr. Adams made the comments on CBS This Morning. He said the federal government is deploying resources to assist, but echoed the calls of Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards and parish-level officials for people to stay home.
