Police in Grand Isle say undertoe claimed the life of a teenager.
The 17-year-old died while swimming Sunday at the beach on the state's only inhabited barrier island.
Police Chief Lane Landry said two other family members were hospitalized.
Paramedics airlifted a 15-year-old to University Medical Center in New Orleans.
A 46-year-old woman, was also treated.
