It will be a chilly Monday morning with temperatures starting in the 40s and 50s and clear skies. Jackets won’t be needed later in the day as temperatures warm up.

“An area of high pressure has moved east of Louisiana and this will keep us warm the next few days. Today will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid 50s,” WWLTVs Dave Nussbaum says. “Pretty pleasant spring-like weather! Tonight will become mostly cloudy and it will not be as chilly. We could see some patchy fog and a stray shower. Lows will be in the 60s on both sides of the lake.”

Tuesday, expect spotty showers and unseasonably warm and humid with high temperatures in the mid 70s.
