
A violent night in New Orleans as four people were shot in three separate incident all within 90-minutes.
According to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, it began around 9:30 when a man was shot near the intersection of North Tonti and Laharpe.
The victim was driving when he came to a stop as the intersection was blocked with a vehicle. He got out of his car and got into a confrontation with the driver of the stopped car when they pulled a gun.
The two wrestled over the firearm, until it went off, shooting the victim in the foot.
The suspect fled the scene, the victim drove himself to a hospital.
The next incident took place in Algiers.
Around 11pm a man was found shot on Kansas Street. The man was rush to a hospital in critical condition.
Minutes later, just a few blocks away, another man was shot near the intersection of General DeGaulle and Garden Oaks Drive.
Earlier in the evening a 32-year old man was shot in the chest during an armed robbery.
Though wearing a ski mask, the victim identified the suspect as someone he knew.
Saturday afternoon a man was shot and killed in the St. Claude neighborhood on the 1300 block of France Street.
He was the fifth person to die in as many days on the streets of New Orleans.
