Saturday is turning out to be a particularly bloody day in New Orleans.
Three incidents of gunfire headlined the NOPD's Major Incident Log for the night.
In the 5 o'clock hour, an argument escalated to the physical altercation then a shooting.
The victim was shot twice and ended up being taken to the hospital by EMS.
The incident in the CBD off Washington and Saratoga Streets brought out officers to investigate.
They later arrested the man suspected in the shooting.
A little more than hour later near the intersection of North Miro and Bartholomew a brother and sister were fighting.
The sister retrieved a gun from her vehicle and shot her brother once.
He was transported to a hospital by EMS.
It is not known if the victim's sister was taken into custody.
Just after 11pm, gunfire turned deadly for one man in downtown.
Police officers heard a number of gunshots and later located a man lying face down near the corner of Baronne and Common Streets.
The man was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
