Torres, who is developing his second resort project in the island chain, began organizing the relief effort when the storm was still raging across the Bahamas.

Here in NOLA we know how difficult it is to get back on our feet after a devastating storm. We’re proud to support the #HurricaneDorianRelief by sending off medical supplies. He says each box of supplies can sustain a family for three or four days.

It’s not the first time Torres has undertaken relief efforts, having delivered goods to Puerto Rico and Haiti in recent years.
