The NOPD is investigating a shooting at the intersection of Poland Street and North Prieur Avenue in the Fifth District. Initial reports show two people, an adult male and an adult female suffered gunshot wounds.
The Times Picayune/The New Orleans Advocate reports at least a half dozen bullets penetrated the driver's side door, according to witnesses.
It's reported that the shots came from a car that sped down North Roman Street.
