A man and a woman were stabbed outside of a church on Canal St. this morning.
The incident happened around 8:30 in the 4300 block of Canal St.
According to the NOPD, a woman stabbed 2 people in front of the building.
The woman who was stabbed had just dropped her child off at the daycare inside when she was stabbed as she walked back to her car. She is reportedly in critical condition.
A man was also stabbed shortly after. He was treated at the scene.
Police believe the suspect may have mental issues.
