A elderly woman says she was robbed at gunpoint while driving in Uptown New Orleans.
"Victim was approached by suspect on the driver’s side of victim’s vehicle. Suspect forced open victim’s driver door," a police report explains.
It says the suspect ordered the 80-year-old woman to hand over her valuables.
"Victim refused. Suspect then produced a dark-colored weapon. Victim complied."
It happened around 6:00am in the 6100 block of Annunciation Street about a block away from Children's Hospital. "Suspect fled east bound on Annunciation Street."
