A vehicle accident on I-10 leads to police discovering an 18-year-old woman from Meraux, in the back seat suffering from several stab wounds.
This all happened early Monday morning on the I-10 westbound just befor the Williams Boulevard exit in Kenner.
According to The Times Picayune | New Orleans Advocate, when officers arrived to the car crash, they discovered Angela Molden, in the back seat with several stab wounds. She was transported to Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner where she was pronounced dead according to the Jefferson Parish coroner’s office.
St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s offices says the driver, a man from Arizona, was questioned and confessed to stabbing the young woman earlier that night.
The man was arrested and booked in St. Bernard jail for second-degree murder.
It isn’t clear if the man and Molden knew each other.
