Warm weekend in store, maybe some showers to go with it

It will be unseasonably warm for the weekend with high temperatures around 80.  It will be mostly cloudy warm and humid. 

"A better chance for showers on Sunday at about 50 percent," said local weather expert, WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin.  "We may also see a bit of patchy fog on Sunday."     Temperatures will be in the 80s for much of the work week, too.  

Remember the time change this weekend.  Move that clock forward one hour before you hit the sack Saturday night.

TONIGHT:Mostly cloudy, cool and muggy with a 10% chance for a shower and patchy dense fog. Lows around 66. Wind S/SE 5-10 mph.

SATURDAY:Mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with a 20% chance for a shower or storm. Highs around 80. Wind S 8-15 mph.

SUNDAY - DST - TURN CLOUDS AHEAD 1 HOUR AT 2 AM:Morning dense fog, then mostly cloudy with a 50% chance for scattered showers and storms. A few could be strong to severe. Lows around 66. Highs around 80.

MONDAY:Morning fog, then cloudy with a 40% chance for scattered showers and storms. Lows around 66. Highs around 77.

TUESDAY:Mostly cloudy, breezy and warm with a 20% chance for a shower. Lows around 64. Highs around 80.

WEDNESDAY:Morning fog, then mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with a 40% chance for scattered showers and storms. A few could be strong. Lows around 67. Highs around 81. 

THURSDAY:Morning fog, then mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with a 50% chance for scattered showers and storms. A few could be strong to severe. Lows around 67. Highs around 80.
