Rodgers is the latest celebrity to score a role as an extra in the final season of HBO's hit series. Rodgers played a resident of King's Landing, who had the misfortune of being in the way of Daenerys Targaryen's dragon as she unleashed its fury on the kingdom of her opponent, Cersei Lannister.

Country music star Chris Stapleton, who recently appeared at Jazz Fest, also made a recent Game of Thrones appearance as a White Walker in the Battle of Winterfell. Ed Sheeran is another chart-topping musician to make a cameo on the show, and Rob McElhenny of the FX series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia caught an arrow through the eye in an earlier episode this season.
Even government officials are getting in on it. Former CIA deputy director Davis S. Cohen appeared in a brief scene.
