Another great day in store for the first day of the French Quarter Festival. A couple more good days before we get some showers on Saturday.
"A line of strong to possibly severe storms rolls in Saturday night after midnight, and most of the rain will be finished by early Sunday morning around 8 a.m.," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexandra Cranford.
Cooler temps in the 70s for the beginning of next week.

SUNDAY:Mostly cloudy, windy and warm with a 70% chance for showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Some storms could be strong to severe. Drying out and clearing by afternoon. Lows around 67. Highs around 76.
