A shooting death in New Orleans this weekend took the life of a dean at a local charter school.
Saturday morning, New Orleans Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of A.P. Tureaud Ave. to investigate a shooting. There, they found the victim, later identified as Reginald Field, Dean of Students at Andrew Wilson Charter School.

Wednesday afternoon, there will be a vigil for Field near the crime scene. It will take place on the neutral ground of A.P. Tureaud Ave. across from Bullets Sports Bar at 2441 A.P. Tureaud. A memorial service is being planned for Saturday, June 1. A time and location will be announced later.
