Heavy rainstorms start the week but will dry out by Thursday. Street flooding possible.
WWL-TV’s meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says, “In the wake of Hanna there is a trough of low pressure and an upper-level low over Louisiana. This will set off numerous showers and storms today. It is very humid, so any rain that falls will be heavy. We could pick up 1-2"+ of rain, and some of it could happen in a short period of time. Watch out for street flooding again.”
