The National Hurricane Center says the New Orleans area could see less than an inch of rain from Hurricane Laura.
The new forecast for rainfall shows the intense downpours limited to areas closer to the eye of the hurricane.
Jefferson, Plaquemines, St. Bernard and St. Tammany are also forecast to see less than an inch of rain.
