Teddy Bridgewater has been the starter for 2 games now, yet some fans are still not happy with his performance, despite the Saints winning both games against the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.
In the 3 games he's played, Bridgewater has thrown for 535 yards with 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He has an 87.1 quarterback rating.
The Saints are 2 and 0 in the games he's started this season. So have Saints fans been spoiled?
"Oh without a doubt, yeah, it's like the Dolphins are still trying to replace Dan Marino, the Broncos after John Elway, and John Elway had to go get Peyton Manning," WWL's Cajun Cannon, Bobby Hebert said. "Teddy just needs to keep leading the team and continue winning, however you win."
Hebert says fans are just not going to see those numbers but the bottom line is win, any way you can.
"We didn't have the yardage against Seattle or Dallas that we won, so we're just going to have to get used to that," said Hebert. "It's not going to be a shootout or Drew Brees type games and hopefully, with the way we are structured we'll be able to do that."
The Saints have another big test when they host Tampa Bay on Sunday.
