Jefferson Parish authorities say a woman suffered gunshot wounds Friday evening outside a Burger King.
The notification from the JPSO came out around 7:25pm of a shooting at 6201 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero.
Police said the injuries were "non-life threatening."
It happened near the corner of Lapalco and Ames.
The woman was reportedly struck in the arm and and leg.
Investigators did not initially say what led to the shooting or if they had determined a motive or identified any suspects.
