Six Tulane players were selected in the NFL draft since 2015, all of them were defensive players. Darnell Mooney is hoping to start a new streak for the Green Wave.
The 5-foot-10, 178-pound receiver is aiming to become the first offensive player to be selected in the NFL draft since Washington took Ryan Grant in the fifth round of the 2014 draft. And after running a 4.38 at the NFL Combine, one of the fastest times of all the receivers attending, and posting solid numbers in 2019, Mooney looks poised to do just that.
