LSU was back on the practice field Tuesday as the Tigers continued to prepare for their upcoming 10-game SEC schedule.
The Tigers are currently set to kick off the 2020 season with a matchup against Mississippi State in Tiger Stadium. The 10-game conference-only schedule will culminate with the SEC Championship Game December 19 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The decision to limit competition to Conference-only opponents and rescheduling the SEC Championship Game was made in response to the prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LSU is looking to replace several starters from last year's undefeated national championship winning team including Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow, its top receiver Justin Jefferson and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
The Tigers will look to Myles Brennan to lead their offense which returns the reigning Biletnikoff Award winner Ja'Marr Chase.
