The Athens County School district announced the move last night.

Burrow set records on the field this year en route to one of the greatest season ever by an SEC quarterback. He's also made a huge impact in his hometown of Athens, Ohio, after mentioning it's poverty rate in his Heisman acceptance speech. Since then a fundraiser for the county's food bank has raised over $450,000.

The school district announced that a ceremony commemorating the name change of the stadium will happen after LSU's season as the No. 1 Tigers are preparing for a College Football Playoff matchup with No. 4 Oklahoma on Dec. 28 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
