The New Orleans Saints 2020 schedule is set to be released Thursday at 7 p.m. CST.
The NFL season is expected to start Sept. 10 and WWL Radio Sports Talk Host Bobby Hebert said he'd be surprised if there were fans in attendance. The Cajun Cannon said that fans likely would prefer that rather than the season being postponed.
"The television product is going to be huge," He said. "Fans are going to want to watch their favorite sport and so the ratings are going to go off the roof — Also listening to local broadcasts like with Zack Strief and Deuce McAllister on Saints Radio-WWL."
The NFL is currently navigating ways to safely conduct business amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
NFL facilities are closed and teams are not holding traditional OTA's and minicamps.
Earlier this week, the NFL announced the season is still expected to start in September but all international games would be played within the United States.
