The Carolina Panthers announced the hiring of LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady as the franchise's offensive coordinator.
Brady became one of college football’s most talked about assistants, after helping Tigers offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger engineer a historic season from the LSU offense, which included breaking multiple records and a Heisman Trophy for quarterback Joe Burrow. He finalized his contract with Carolina Wednesday.
Brady told the Carolina Panthers website that he was "excited for the future."
"I had high expectations for myself. The quote I live by is, 'No one rises to low expectations.' But to say offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers? I don't think I would have expected that," Brady told the Panthers site. "The places I've been have prepared me well. I knew with the right work ethic and approach that anything was possible in this business."
