The waiting game is over!  The Saints will play the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL Divisional Round of the playoffs on Sunday January 13th at 3:40 at home in the Superdome.  The Eagles knocked off the Chicago Bears 16-15 in a wild till the end Wild Card Round Sunday afternoon in Chicago. While many Saints fans and analysts are happy not to face the Cowboys, the fact that the Black & Gold beat the Eagles in the regular season 48-7 back in week 11 in the Superdome may be deceiving. Philadelphia was a different team then. Carson Wentz was under center at QB and since has missed time with an injured back.  Enter last year’s Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles and the Eagles are rolling once again in the post-season.“There is just something about that team that believes in Nick Foles.  You can see they just play differently with him at quarterback,” explained the Cajun Cannon Bobby Hebert.Another factor...when the Eagles lost to the Saints in the regular season, their secondary was riddled with injuries.  The defending Super Bowl champs have played better since that game in New Orleans.“There is something that unnerves you about playing the defending champs even though you are at home. I don’t like messing with teams that know how to win in January,” explained the voice of the Saints Zach Strief.  Philadelphia qualified for the post season in the last week of the regular season with a win over the Redskins and some help across the league. The Eagles have now won four straight headed into the matchup with New Orleans.  Nick Foles and the Eagles battle the Drew Brees and Saints and Sunday in the Superdome. Should be an exciting matchup. Here we go!
