Jefferson Parish has pushed back school openings back from August 12th to August 26th. Shortly before that announcement was made, Newell spoke to Jefferson Parish Federation of Teachers Kesler Camese-Jones about her organization’s effort to make that happen - Newell invited Camese-Jones back on the program Thursday afternoon to see how that decision was made, and what happens next.
