According to multiple reports, the Kansas City Chiefs have signed former Saints defensive end Alex Okafor to a three-year deal. His contract is worth $18 million and can go up to $24 million if he hits all the incentives included.
Okafor had 8.5 sacks over 26 games for the Black & Gold and became a free agent when his contract for this coming season voided earlier this week. He tore his Achilles back in 2017 and then re-upped on a cheap "prove-it" deal with the Saints before last season. Now he is cashing in with K.C.
