Zach Wood joined the Saints in 2017 and has agreed to a new 4-year-deal to remain in New Orleans, a source confirms. The move keeps the Black & Gold’s steady special team’s trio of Wood, Thomas Morstead and Will Lutz together.

Wood is a 27-year-old long snapper out of SMU that was originally signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. He is also the reigning two-time champion at the annual Black and Gold Celebrity Softball Game.
