Saints rookie end Carl Granderson has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading no contest in his sexual battery case. Two female Wyoming university students say he touched them sexually while they slept at his apartment in 2018.
BREAKING: Former Wyoming football player Carl Granderson has been sentenced to serve six months in jail immediately in his sexual battery case after his plea agreement was rejected by the court. Granderson was remanded before leaving the Albany County district courtroom.

July 11, 2019 Granderson was considered a draft prospect before charges were brought against him. He had 173 tackles, 16½ sacks, three interceptions and three forced fumbles in his 42 games in his four year career at Wyoming. Saints coach Sean Payton said during rookie minicamp that, “We felt real comfortable with everything we knew, and so far he’s done a good job here.”
