According to multiple online reports, the NFL is making all 32 NFL remain home for training camp this year as the league tries to navigate the safest path for players through the coronavirus pandemic.
This does not affect the Saints plans. New Orleans did spend 2014-2016 in West Virginia, but have been at home the past 3 years. Since returning to their Metairie facility, the Saints have not missed the postseason.
We are still waiting for word on if coaches will be allowed to enter team facilities. Commissioner Roger Goodell said following an owners conference call that he expected clubs to be permitted to include members of their coaching staffs among employees permitted to resume work in team facilities this week.
