Veteran defensive back DeShawn Shead is coming to New Orleans for the holidays, according to a report from the NFL Network.

The 30 year old last played in 2018 for Detroit in 12 games for the Lions before getting place on injured reserve. Shead has made 172 tackles, two interceptions, four forced fumbles and record a sack over his career which began in 2012 with Seattle. He has appeared in 10 playoff games and was a part of Seattle’s Super Bowl XLVII winning squad.
