The Saints Thursday injury report remained the same, except for the status of rookie safety CJ Gardner-Johnson. He suffered a concussion in the win on Monday night football and did not practice Wednesday, but was limited today. Being upgraded is a positive sign Gardner-Johnson is progression in a positive direction in the concussion protocol.
Still not practicing for the Saints were safety Vonn Bell (knee) and OL Larry Warford (knee). Warford had a heartbreaking post on social media. The Saints tweeted the video of Drew Brees becoming the NFL’s all-time leader in TD passes and asked “where were you?” Unfortunately, Warford got injured before getting to be on the field with the team for history.
