Congratulations are in order for Sean Payton and it’s not because of a Saints victory. He got engaged to Skylene Montgomery Friday night in New Orleans. Society columnist Nell Nolan covered the evening from the the Longway Tavern:

Payton has been smiling a lot, with lots of love at home and at work. He’s guided a strong, deep Saints squad to a 7-1 record and has gotten some Coach of the Year chatter for showing the Fleur-Di-Lis can shine no matter who is down.
Could Payton grab an engagement AND Super Bowl ring the same year? New Orleans is the #2 seed in the NFC currently with 8 games to go in the regular season. Fresh off a bye the Saints host the first of four NFC South opponents. The 1-7 Atlatna Falcons are first on the menu Sunday at noon.
