Saints promote TE Dan Arnold to active roster

The Saints promoted tight end Dan Arnold from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's battle against the Bears in Chicago.  Brian Parker was waived to make room for Arnold.

The Black & Gold made the move since Jared Cook is dealing with an ankle issue and is out for this week's game.  Arnold caught 12 passes for 150 yards and 1 TD last season.

He was an undrafted free agent WR out of Wisconsin-Plattville in 2017 before getting converted to TE.  Arnold could see significant targets with no Cook, Alvin Kamara and Tre'Quan Smith in the lineup and plenty of double & triple teams likely coming Mike Thomas' way.
