The Saints have announced that they have signed defensive end Wes Horton and waived linebacker Darrell Williams.
Horton is 29 years old and was signed by the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of USC in 2013. He appeared in all 16 games for Carolina last year and recorded 24 tackles with 1.5 sacks
“He’s a veteran, he’s a guy that can play inside and outside,” said Saints color analyst Deuce McAllister. “He’s a guy that the Saints have seen a lot of and gives them a vet who’s been there, done that.”
